Taste the real St. Elizabeth
Chef Rohan leads culinary tours through St. Elizabeth's legendary food stops — from the peppered shrimp of Middle Quarters to the cow skin soup in Nain. Each tour includes tastings, cooking demos, and the stories behind the dishes.
Chef Rohan trained in Kingston's top kitchens before returning to his home parish to champion St. Elizabeth's street food traditions. His culinary tours are curated pilgrimages through the flavors that define the parish — peppered shrimp, escovitch fish, cow skin soup, rum punch, and more.
A typical day-long tour starts at Middle Quarters for breakfast shrimp, loops through Nain for the legendary cow skin soup, visits Border for grilled lobster, and ends at a rum tasting at Appleton Estate. Along the way, Chef Rohan introduces you to the vendors themselves — the aunties, cooks, and fishermen who've been perfecting their craft for decades.
He also hosts private cooking classes at his home near Treasure Beach, where guests prepare a three-course Jamaican meal from scratch. Dietary restrictions are accommodated with advance notice.
