About Walk Good
A local's guide to the parishes of Jamaica
See Jamaica the Way Locals Do
Walk Good is a travel guide to Jamaica's 14 parishes, built around the places locals actually go. The roadside shrimp vendors, the hidden waterfalls, the community-run tours, the fishing villages where the catch comes in at sunrise — the Jamaica that doesn't fit inside a resort.
We believe travel is better when it's rooted in the people and places that make somewhere home. Every destination on Walk Good is chosen with that in mind, and every guide we feature is someone who lives and works in the parish they'll show you.
Currently featuring St. Elizabeth — Jamaica's largest parish and agricultural heartland, known as the Breadbasket. We're adding Portland, St. Ann, and more as we go.
Parish by Parish
Each of Jamaica's 14 parishes has its own character, landscape, and local favorites. Walk Good gives each one room to breathe.
Off the Beaten Path
The spots that don't make the cruise-ship itinerary — roadside food stops, hidden waterfalls, community-run heritage sites.
Local Guides
Every guide we feature lives and works in the parish they show you — so a portion of every booking stays in the community.
