Portland's Hidden Cascade

Reach Falls

A secluded multi-tiered waterfall in the rainforests of Portland, fed by the Driver's River and surrounded by untouched tropical greenery.

About This Place

Reach Falls is one of Jamaica's most beautiful and least-crowded waterfalls, tucked into the lush rainforest of Portland's John Crow Mountains. The Driver's River cascades over a series of limestone ledges into deep turquoise pools perfect for swimming.

Unlike the more commercial Dunn's River, Reach Falls has kept a wild, unspoiled character. Local guides can lead adventurous visitors on an underwater swim through a hidden cave behind the main cascade.
